This is lovely! The characters don’t talk and yet they convey the idea of “balance” so perfectly. It’s funny how that dude also looks so much like a young Ben Solo.

Very romance driven YA fantasy book that features an Usurper as the male main protagonist and a heroine that comes close to the Holy Mother/Queen archetype as described by @ohtze in her fantastic Kill the King and take the Crown meta ( https://fuck-yeah-monsters-and-villains.tumblr.com/post/169112732992/kill-the-king-and-take-the-crown-kylo-ren-rey ) about the Reylo dynamic in TLJ.

The book itself is not my favourite as it’s a little bit too teen oriented (mostly character descriptions) for someone as ancient as myself. The premise is fantastic though and being a sucker for the good old girl going underground trope I still enjoyed it.

LEGEND (1985) by Ridley Scott

A dark, beautiful and very sensual fairy tale / fantasy movie. Loss of innocence, destruction, coming of age, seduction and love are the main themes. Visually stunning and full of mischievous fairies, beautiful unicorns and demons.

I remember watching this movie when I was a kid thinking that the dude had really ugly teeth. Yes, I’m talking about Tom Cruise.😂 On the other hand I really liked the red guy (Lord of Darkness) and I remember how bummed I was that it didn’t work out between him and the heroine. Actually I’m still bummed.
