The rituals Baraqiel performed were an object of fascination for both
men and Angels alike. He brought to them the gift of tamed lightning.
Despite the widespread appreciation for the fruits of this work, few
volunteered to assist. Baraqiel was known not only for the power he
commanded, but also his lack of respect for it. His fall was the first
to prove that Watchers were not complete in their wisdom or their
immortality.

He might look intimidating but he’s actually a very nice monster!

Lea was walking home alone one night and accosted by some rather rude men with ill intent for her. They dragged her into the alley way but then she was rescued! He was a monster and he did eat the men but a rescue is a rescue she figured. The next night she went out she left a rather expensive roast for the monster. In return, she found some pretty flowers carved from human bones. A bit morbid but still sweet. After a few more gift exchanges and some midnight walks through the shady parts of the city, Lea ended up taking their relationship to the next level.
